New Year
New Year's is officially over. The family has all gone. BooHoo! The Ripp's from Wisconsin spent the New Year's weekend with us. We had so much fun. The guys played Wii Zelda all weekend. Mom and I played with the Digital Scrapbook program. She had so many good ideas. She also helped me get this blog page up and running again. Thanks so much Mom! Shelby and I painted our nails like five times with my new crackle stuff. Lots of fun. Katie played a lot on her new easel she got for Christmas and made the rounds from person to person playing and loving. All in all a great weekend. Katie has a bad cough and will probably have to go to the doctor today. Heath and I are both off thanks to the kindness of his boss. We will spend the rest of the day just being together. WELCOME BACK!!
Dear Friends and Family,
Sorry we have been gone so long. We are going to try to keep up with the blog again. We have a page for each of us and will be posting pictures and so on from time to time. This main page is going to be updated weekly at least. To catch everyone up on 2011. Katie had tubes put in her ears. Worked well, she hasn't had an ear infection since. We purchased our first home. A beautiful two story home just off of Main street and just two blocks from our church. Yeah! Now for 2011. We had two miscarriages in 2011. It was very hard to go through but God has given peace. I took a 4 week leave of absence in October to deal with everything that had happened. I also had a minor surgery during this time and was diagnosed with endometriosis. It is nice to have a reason for the pain I have been in this last year. Heath lost his job in November, but God graciously gave him a new one that is even better than the old one. God is always good! Katie goes to daycare and was moved to the preschool class this year to help her stay challenged. She does very well. She has definitely hit the Terrible Two's! WOW! It's a good thing God gives grace. I hope this helps everyone feel caught up. We will see you next time. The Ripp's
